While working for UPS I was under the job title of Driver’s Assistance. I would ride on the UPS trucks and deliver the packages from the truck to the customer’s address. I also helped sort the packages in the trucks to make sure we could deliver them on time and with ease.

Through this company I was able to work at two different hotels in the Coachella Valley; the Colony Palms & the J.W. Marriott Desert Palms Resort & Spa. I would valet guest’s cars, and if they needed help with their bags then I would help carry them to their room.

On the weekends as a pool attendant my job was to make sure there was no trash around the pool, and to refill the pool bar with the alcohol we were serving that day.
During the week I would work in the restaurant, El Jefé, as either a busser or bar back. As a busser I would clean tables, set them up, and fill customer’s water throughout my shift. When I was bar backing I would do what the bartenders requested me to do, mostly refilling the stock of alcohol.

My main job in the basement was moving boxes and packages to different departments in the hospital. I would also take trash and cardboard to the trash compactor in the basement of the hospital.
In the cafeteria I served food to the patients and guests of the hospital. I was in charge of making the food shifted from breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the day.

I received the Tough, Smart, and Unselfish Award during my Junior of high school. This award was given to one person on the team that the coach felt resembled these redeeming qualities that represented Palm Springs High School Basketball as a whole. This player was a leader and more important than MVP ( Most Valuable Player ) to the team.
I received many awards in my 4 year Latin program at Palm Springs High School. I won these awards for having a good understanding of the root language, that to this day, is a dead language which is extremely hard to learn.
